Our specialty service areas include disease prevention, health promotion, medical and mental health, youth services and housing. Our team has also successfully acquired resources for advocacy, training, planning and organizational development.

Our Leadership

Danny JenkinsDanny Jenkins has been in non-profit program development and leadership for over twenty years. He has developed and documented sustainable health-related prevention and treatment programs for people living with HIV, drug users and youth populations, designing service models that are recognized as effective, cost efficient and compassionate. Born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles, Mr. Jenkins studied language and adult education before devoting his time to non-profit development efforts. Mr. Jenkins is proud to have co-founded Los Angeles’ HIV-Drug and Alcohol Task Force, co-chairing the Hepatitis C Task Force for L. A. County, and for serving on the L.A. City AIDS Coordinator’s Advisory Board.

Jasper DoJasper Do, MPH, brings grant writing and program development experience to We Write the Grants. As a Development Specialist, Mr. Do helps nonprofit organizations win critical funding to support comprehensive health care and social services through the development of competitive grant proposals and related projects. He is also actively involved in research designed to improve access to health care for underserved and uninsured populations throughout Los Angeles County.

May NgMay Ng, Development Specialist, helps nonprofit organizations reach their goals and objectives through research, grant writing, data management and analysis. Ms. Ng attended the University of California, Davis and received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. She is currently working on her certificate of Fundraising at UCLA.

Jasper DoHeather Edney is widely recognized for her business development acumen and expertise in marketing.  Ms. Edney possesses a keen understanding of a range of nonprofit enterprises and a natural enthusiasm for challenging work.  From her groundbreaking leadership in harm reduction to her coveted role in the network of behavioral heath care, she has brought personal and professional experience to bear with rare success.  Heather’s contribution as Marketing Associate for We Write the Grants lends invaluable momentum to its continuing success.
